Tax system 'to be simplified to encourage investment'

BBC News - Tax system 'to be simplified to encourage investment'

At least IR35 is starting to get into mainstream reporting - it's mentioned in the body of the BBC report.

Of course "simplification" doesn't neccessarily mean better.

It's already a case of "You got sufink, we're having our cut, or we're give you a good smacking. Be thankful we don't take the lot". How simple do they want to make it?

Maybe, "Shoot this one and take all he's got. Top the wife too, but we might get something for his daughter"
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Have you written to George Osborne with your suggestions?

Yes, obviously, else why mention it so loudly?

The trick is to read past the political phraseology, which is meant to stop your opponents twisting what you said.

Nice to see it on the agenda for starters and also with what seems to be some urgency behind it.
