Nice and unbiased bit of reporting there... For one thing Mr Whiting has long been an advocate for reform and rationalisation of the tax system.

BBC News - Tax system 'to be simplified to encourage investment'

At least IR35 is starting to get into mainstream reporting - it's mentioned in the body of the BBC report.

Of course "simplification" doesn't neccessarily mean better.
