It's pretty clear that the noobies aren't going get much sympathy here.

I'm pretty sure it's not the account's fault (or their problem, strictly speaking) but it sounds like the OP is in a bit of a flap. The guy just needs a little bit of support so he can get on his feet and his first few invoices submitted, take it a bit easy.

There are some noubies that do get some support from the board members. In this case, the OP came on this board and slagged off his accountant, and it transpired that the OP was at fault. What sympathy do you want me to give?



If the OP came on board and said "Can I invoice my clients without a VAT number, and can I backdate the VAT when I have registered", it may have got a more favourable response from me and possibly others.

I can't offer sympathy for someone who slags off their accountants publically when clearly they are at fault. The OP could have registered on this board 3 months ago, but didn't. The OP could have read the first-timers guide 3 months ago, but didn't. The OP could have asked Nixon Williams if he can invoice without a VAT number, but didn't.

The OP made a lot of assumptions and is blaming someone else for their failings.

Try a company No-Worries Services LTD - they are the best, their service is second to none and relatively inexpensive.

Just started a couple of months ago with a new accounting service from Nixon Williams ....

Must say that I am not really happy with how my stuffs are being dealt with ... and seems they are just concerned about their fees and nothing else.

I read someone say must be a premium service, well being charged 88 pounds I haven't even seen the most basic service.

Sad, but now planning to move away to someone more reliable and would provide services worth the fees.
