Wise words - thanks for that - I've fully engaged the client who, rather annoyingly, admitted that they hadn't actual paid the invoices presented by Qualitas (grovelling apology etc etc) HOWEVER, under the EAA regs (PART II - GENERAL OBLIGATIONS 12 (a)) Qualitas are legally obliged to pay up whether they have received payment from the client or not - I guess this is why I'm facing a wall of silence as to admit they weren't paying me due to the client not paying them is an admission of guilt

It depends if you opted in or out of the regs !? If you didn't opt out, then your contract should not have anything linking your payment to the payment from client to agency.

UPDATE - my client has finally gotten hold of the CEO and has secured a promise from them to pay me this Friday - (strange sense of deja vu going on here) - albeit only the money they should have paid on 15 January - I'll post here if they comply or renege on that.

I get a sense that the client hasn't paid Qualitas for a while as they have knocked back invoices as they didn't quote a PO number - why Qualitas would continue to sit on unpaid invoices and not chase them is beyond me and whilst it doesn't justify not paying me I can sort of understand it.

                I'll repost Friday...

Admin - can you enable PM on Phil's account so we can take this off line?

                    HI All,

The advice is too sit and wait. Once the agreement is signed our money should be released.
