I vote we chalk our message at the top of Beachyhead so incoming flights to the UK can see it.

There was also a lot of swearing.
I'd love to see HMRC's bailiffs try and sieze him.Comment

Seriously though, if HMRC do send bailiffs, maybe we could take photos and start an ugly mugs gallery of shame.'Orwell's 1984 was supposed to be a warning, not an instruction manual'. -

WelBeck
I had my monthly sales pitch from Welbeck Group today. They all read off the same card:-
WB Sales Rep: "Hi, am calling from The Welbeck Group , I take it you have heard of us? We are financial advisors specialising in ....."
Maddog - "I am so glad you called, especially after I asked you to remove me from your dialling list last month. I have heard of you because I believe your company recommended a tax avoidance scheme to some IT contractors, and they are now facing bankruptcy due to a recent high court ruling. Can you advise how you will compensate your clients in such circumstances ?
WB Sales Rep: "That was another part of the organisation, but I can look into for you and come back to you this afternoon ? "
Maddog - "That would be most useful, I shall remain at my desk and will await your call."
I am hoping I have now been successfully removed from their "potential client dailling list"
