    from limited co to umbrella

I'm tired of running a limited co. after much hassle from incompetent accountants and taxman and the work involved in general.

Thinking of closing down the company and going to an umbrella co. Good idea, bad idea?

Get a competent accountant and the tax man will leave you alone.

I went from Ltd to umbrella also as I got bored of running it, plus all sorts of tulipty HMRC terms and legislative changes to deal with. Many people on here would say that it's not too much work or that you should get a better accountant. Is this true..? Maybe/maybe not. It's horses for courses.

I just find an umbrella takes all the hassle out of it, and there is not much difference in the overall %'s of takehome.
