Might be best to phone IOM office and ask when sent.

I have my copy and scanned in : is there any harm in posting it up here? Is there anything that might help HMRC?

Even if no harm (although they mind find something useful) , suggest it best not to. Keep em guessing

Only 1 out of 5 (at clientco) have received it, and '1' keeps forgetting to bring it in and show the rest of us - damn tease.

Have many others received/not received it?
I received mine yesterday. It was postmarked 11th Dec so they are obviously taking longer to get to us due to the Xmas post.

Both of HMRCs "reasons" as to why BN66 didn't infringe our human rights also made me chuckle - they were obviously well thought through...

It was good that they said there will be regular monthly updates from now on (I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they will stick to this). Even the bit on mortgages was quite useful (I just went through the remortgage nightmare myself and it wasn't easy with my income coming from MontP).

I did use montp mortgages : generally went very smoothly. Getting confirmation of earnings from NW/JD/TQ was seemless.

But BOS wanted a copy of my current contract : and montp mortgages said I would have to ask montp IOM for it as seperate legal entities!!!! I threw my toys out of the pram and magically it all went smoothly.....

received my MP update yesterday. very pleased to see that HMRC are being as incompetent as ever. I dont suppose we can film the JR? It will surely qualify as 'funniest ever legal humiliation' on YouTube.
still awaiting my CN and my self assessment account shows nothing due. long may this continue!

on the mortgage front, back in the summer I used contractor financials (link from this bulletin board) and they sorted me out without any hassle. 'standard' mortgage operations wouldnt touch me due to my mixed MP/Ltd earnings background.

If they don't then they'll just generate more calls/e-mails for themselves.

              Mortgages?

Its a reminder that it is easier to use montpelier mortgages as they are familiar with the scheme. other brokers find the scheme a bit perplexing.

I can't see any harm in posting the response from HMRC to the JR. For example, I would be interested to get the likes of Friendly Accountant's views on point (a).

But we should keep MP's comments off the forum.

                  Anyone object?

There must be two mailshots! Mine did not have anything relating to mortgages on it. Guess it is as I am no longer a member.

I do recall a number of years ago explaining to my IFA the scheme and how it worked. In the end got him to speak with MTM direct!

Posting points a & b would do no harm.
