    LTD Company Expenses ?

    Expenses

Been going through some of the threads. Just wondering what some of you guys who have Limited companies claim as valid expenses?

    I currently claim for

    Company Mobile
    Mileage
    Computer Equipment (Company use)
    Accounts Fee’s
    Company Insurance.

Iv heard of people claiming clothing allowances etc.

I claim exactly the same as you.

Dull reply, I know, but it is at least a reply.

if you have a decent accountant they should have a list if what you can and cannot claim for.

As well as what you claim

I also claim for working away from home, broadband and mileage

i heard some other contractor in an office saying he claims for "client gifts" at Xmas time such as a number of bottles of alachol and chocolates. Plus Xmas hospitality party for LTD CO directors....anyone else done this? if so what do you write on your expense form?

Home working - i work from home about 2-3 days a week - how does one claim for an expense/allowance for this? Is it worth it too?

I think the figure for home working is £3/week, it went up from £2.

I can't be bothered to claim it, but others do,.

I have tried this but wasn't allowed it. Was told that Xmas gifts as such had to or could be logo'd items, but not bottles.

Also tried a suit too, but no go.
