Hey, this was a master plan to get HMRC to waste their time!

How would YOU personally feel (this is a question to everyone) if you gave away information that caused us to lose. I know I would be totally gutted!
Won't happen. The "killer blow" which may be fatal to the other sides case will be disclosed through the skeleton arguments in disclosure.

As to ambush with rare facts that only really happens because the other side don't realise they are being ambushed from the skeleton. If they do the job properly they know it's coming (of course whether they can rebut it or not is also a different matter).

Does this mean HMRC are issuing them year by year, so if you were in a few years you will get one for each year ?

                    I've received mine for tax years ending 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07.
One of them had the amount crossed out and written in pencil! Very professional!!!
