Had one years ago. Bloke just looked through sheets/receipts for about 20 minutes, said that looks fine and left. Hard to get VAT wrong really.

Agree with what others are said. Surely if you're on flat rate there ain't going to be any receipts etc. anyway.
Bit hard to do wrong surely?

They don't always stick to VAT questions. One wrong answer to something innocuous about your contracts or working practices and the wheels start turning...Blog? What blog...?
