    Self Employed vs Limited Company

Hi, can any one tell me the difference between being self employed vs starting your own company

    #2
In the context of contracting the most important difference is that you will find few clients who will take you on as a self employed person. This is because, if the IR later rule that you are not truly self employed but an employee of the client, the latter will become responsible for any ourstanding liability for tax and NI. They can never have such an obligation if you operate through a limited company.

      Yep,

If you don't want to go the Ltd route, the only other option is to use an Umbrella company.

      Pick wisely, however...
