Medical - legitimate company expense or BIK

Decided to have a private medical which cost just over 300 squid. Has anyone passed this off as a legit company expense or would it be seen as a BIK.

I'm just thinking back to me permie days and quite often I would be expected to take a medical before joining a company, so it was more a requirement of the company rather than a benefit to me.

A little bird in my head was not sure that's true. Did a quick search on my archive of notes and found this:

          Medical costs
An earlier Update in this series (Tax-free benefits) brought out the
fact that periodic medical check-ups for employees (and,
surprisingly, their families) do not generally give rise to a tax
          charge.

Some time ago and directors do not always qualify for the same BIKs as employees but worth a futher check.

Thanks again. I'll ask the accountant next time I call them.
