company to Review contract for IR35

I want to get my new contract reviewed by a consultancy for IR35. My contract as been drawn up already by the agency and I want to have it checked or have advise on what should be altered to get it out of IR35.

Can anyone recommend a company? Ive seen a few companies and the price ranges a lot from £85 - £200 + vat.

    I'm using QDos (http://www.qdosconsulting.com/default.asp)

It's generally accepted that the best and most capable IR35 review team are Bauer and Cotterell.

Cost is not an issue, if you set it against 20% of the total contract value.

I've used Qdos in the past and been very pleased with them. B&C (as suggested by others) seem to be well recommended. Lawspeed might do it, but no idea about how good they are.

The main ones mentioned on here are B&C and Qdos, typically in that order.

Lawspeed are actually quite good for overall contract reviews. They will pick up IR35 issues but will also look at the commercials. QDOS and B&C focus on IR35 which, with the main agencies and traditional contracts, are all most people are really worried about.

Malvilo, in the event of an IR35 investigation do PCG members get to choose B&C or someone else to represent them ? Or does PCG have a 'preferred vendor' that provides legal representation?

B&C charge £150 for one contract check and qdos charge about 40 quid for 3 contracts in a year. whats the catch ?

No catch. The Freelance Club assessments give a 'pass or fail' type overview, plus a concise list of necessary amendments. B&C's £150 review would be a clause by clause analysis. The difference in price is simply due to the amount of detail provided.

We also offer a full, detailed review service for £85 + VAT.
