I'm with NW and am probably about 350 miles away from their office. I don't see it as a problem when you have phone, email, fax & post.

Both NW & SJD are highly recommended so I'd say just give 'em both a call and have a chat.

SJD <--> Are great??????

I've heard SJD are OK unless you need something !!

People tell me they send you a spreadsheet that you fill in and send to them so they can copy it onto your tax return. Apparently they don't contact you or give you any advice as they are too busy getting more and more clients hooked. Not much effort on their part for nearly £100 per month.

Well this contractor would not touch them with a stick.

I also think you'll get better service from a smaller outfit.

I'm with SJD and think they're very good. However, they are the 1st accountants I've had so have nothing to compare with. Can someone tell me why we pay £100 for a service NW can provide for a lot less or do NW charge for other things that SJD include in the £100 monthly charge.

No we do not charge extra for any other services!

We do all the accounting work including checking your invoices, expenses and ensure that you accounts balance and that nothing has been paid twice (this happens more than you would think). We also check that all your invoices have been paid etc.
