    Accountancy question Pt 2

    I asked a question about having 2 accountants: https://forums.contractoruk.com/acco...ts-needed.html
The accountants confirmed this was OK - with some reservations.
However, other posters (NON accountants) seemed to advise otherwise.

A similar question was asked in 2012 - about different accountants for personal and corporate tax. Again - the accountants confirmed this was OK. https://forums.contractoruk.com/acco...ccounting.html

Interestingly, one of the non accountants - seems to give different/ conflicting advice.
In the 2012 post they seemed to advise it was OK; yet now they are advising otherwise!

So: Professional advice (like the one I requested) is best left to the accountants.

For anyone interested: You CAN have 2 Accountants - e.g. Accountant 1 for Annual Accounts & Corporation Tax; Accountant 2 for PAYE/ Payroll (employer & employee).

Nobody said you can't. Most of us directors queried the wisdom of doubling a single service. You chose not to listen to the question and went off in a huff. Tant pis...

None of us said you can't.
Most of us (including the accountants) questioned why you would bother paying extra for the job.

Please don't make things up in the professional forums.

You've entitled this thread "Accountancy question Pt 2", but have not asked a question, so we'll close this thread.
