Hello, has anyone purchased private health insurance for themselves and their family through their limited company? I'm wondering if it might more affordable or tax efficient to do it through the business. Thank you kindly.

Have you asked your accountant about it? They are tax specialists afterall.

And all this is about your cover as an employee/director of your company. Family insurance is not wholly and exclusively for the purpose of business so will attrack BIK.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!! -
Also factor in the fact it's highly likely you'll be taking an inside gig in the near future which is going to be a right pain in the arse having to get a new plan even if you could put it through the business.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment

Will need to pay BIK but it was more affordable and accountant said was allowable expense.

Can anyone recommend brokers / insurance suppliers? I'm looking into this as well, just not sure for how long (currently can't afford to wait weeks for simple blood tests etc).Comment

Just if it helps I went with Bupa SME product.
Need to have more than one "employee" or "Director" in your Limited Company.
WPA was expensive for me personally.
