Been contracting outside of IR 35 for ten years now and have been sitting on the bench for a while. Looking at a PAYE roll that I have been offered but want to keep my LTD open as my wife is a director and she is currently working on an outside of IR35 gig. Obviously, I will be talking to the accountants about this, but has anyone else done something similar or could share their experiences?

So you've two directors? Both earners? And one isn't going to be earning any income for the LTD for whilst the other continues to do so?

You'll likely want to stop your salary from the Ltd.
You may want to shuffle some/all of your shares to your wife (not something to jump into, multiple things to consider first).Comment
