Hiller Hopkins - trouble?

Does anyone here deal with Hillier Hopkins accountants? I'm worried that they are in some kind of trouble.

They are usually very responsive but are now very difficult to get hold of (they don't answer the main switchboard number and don't respond to emails).

Having just spoken to one of the partners on his direct line he was not his usual helpful and talkative self and was very evasive when asking for a commitment to answering my simple query.

No idea about the company. However, past experience here from other companies when this happens suggests it might be prudent to gather all your company information together ready to move. Just in case. Of course, they might just be having a bad day......

The olds heads might remember this but THEPUMA is part of Hillier. He used to give some great advice but he hasn't been around since 2014 so doubt that's much help. It appears he's still with them. His number is on his profile and he was a helpful chap. Maybe ring him direct, tell him you are on CUK and see if he can shed any light?

I've never heard of them in my 20+ career. Usually as others here would say is to pick up the phone which you've done so the only thing I can add here is what did you ask them? Maybe we can help if it's urgent...
