    Engaging an EU freelancer post-Brexit?

From time to time I have engaged freelancers or contractors from other countries including EU. But not since Brexit went through. Seeing these stories about EU companies refusing to post to UK, has anything changed for me? They would be working remotely from wherever they are and we're talking a relatively small amount of work.

Anything to be aware of? I assume I could make them go through Upwork or similar and let them handle all the red tape if needed?

VAT has changed but that's their problem. Other than that it's BAU if they are not coming to the UK.

    IANAL
