My mate set up one 25 years ago, moved his freehold office building into it. At the time I scoffed but he's retired and loaded and I'm still working. If you have premises, loads of fixed assets or non-standard requirements take a look but Joe Bloke contractor will struggle to make the maths work....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

A full service SIPP you can, yes. I believe the majority of folks don't realise that the usual retail platforms are really a basic stripped back SIPP to cater for most retail investors. A full service SIPP that accommodates direct commercial property holdings cannot be found in the typical fund supermarket type place where most folks look for a SIPP. Full service SIPP is typically pretty bespoke, which means expensive. Hence the success of the fund supermarkets in this space.Originally posted by Lance View Post

Indeed. In fact it has some commonalities with SSAS in the cost.Originally posted by Fred Bloggs View PostA full service SIPP you can, yes. But it doesn't need a trust and is designed for one person not a group of people.See You Next TuesdayComment
