If we stay below the 9k odd so we don't pay NI, does that affect our state pension and right to state healthcare? What about the s1 form (UK pays for healthcare abroad) if we are a UK worker posted abroad?

NHS care is not at all tied up with your NI contributions. It is free at the point of delivery to anybody living/visiting this country.Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !Comment

No. Healthcare is not related to NI payments, they only affect your pension contributions for the state pension. There is a sweet spot for salary where you pay no NI but still get counted as contributing years for pension purposes. Your accountant can advise you on what that is in any given year.Originally posted by founder View PostIf we stay below the 9k odd so we don't pay NI, does that affect our state pension and right to state healthcare?
