    Christmas Parties.....

Just listening to Money Box Live and they have said HMRC have confirmed that "Virtual" Christmas Parties can be included in the £150 a year per staff member allowance. Anyone got anymore details, or examples of how it might work

[looks to send £150 worth of booze to myself]

    EDIT; just found this

That's the one that has the discounts the more you spend with some suppliers isn't it? Are the discounts actually any good? Can you recoup the price of it on just consumables and the like or is it a bit stingy?

I think it depends on what it is you're buying. There's nothing I buy in sufficient bulk that makes much difference.

I've gone for it for a year to see what it's like as it's discounted when linked to a personal Prime subscription.

I do like that you can filter by sellers that will provide a downloadable VAT invoice. I've also set this feature as a company policy so you get non-compliant sellers flagged up as 'company restricted'.
