    remote working tax/ social insurance

All, if i work remotely for a foreign company, do i pay tax/ SI here or in their country of residence?
the work is happening <E.G. system builds> at their site, but i'm located in my office.
i haven't done this from the UK before, so i'm unsure of HMRC's position.
i tried the HMRC helpline but got pissed off with the robot's attempts to understand my query.

    TIA

don't run a Ltd, not worth the hassle.
      so, no, i haven't.

If the work is done in the UK then the tax is paid in the UK.
          You're an exporter of services.

What happens on November 1st may alter things.
Also how you get paid may be interesting. If, for example, a German umbrella pays you they may automatically deduct German taxes.
My suggestion would be for you to find out from the company engaging you how they think it will work.

Or talk to Sue @ iPay.
