Any way to prevent your name/company details from coming up on Internet searches

    Serious question here.

If someone searches your name then it's very easy for them to find out how much £ your company has. This can make you a target for crime.

Having been the target of (personal) theft recently, I have a concern that my details could be passed around and this could easily be linked to my company account.

Is there any way to remove all trace of my name and company from internet searches?

I don't believe so: Your personal information on the public record at Companies House - GOV.UK

Anyone that knows your name can not only find out your company details but also how much the company has in assets. This is what concerns me and I'm surprised that is allowed to be public, for free.

Don't worry - it will only take a dozen or two brutal murder during bungled robberies in order for Govt to slightly change this moronic policy.

Why are you concerned about it?
Why should the public not be allowed to know who company directors are and what the company's finances are like?

My understanding it's the price you pay for limited liability. You need to be reasonably open about who controls the business, and what assets it has. Potential suppliers can then use this information to establish if they'll give you any credit (as the limited liability means they could lose out if your company doesn't pay).

I imagine any routes to avoid disclosing this information would either:
            1) involve not having a Ltd Co (or an LLP), instead running a sole trader/partnership, or
            2) be extremely dodgy (eg appointing a random as director, also gifting your shares to a random, with some agreement they then pass on the money to you etc).
