Have a decent background in getting petitions to 100,000 before and therefore forcing a debate in parliament re the matter. Once a petition reaches 100,000 it is guaranteed to be debated, however it can be debated prior to this.

You do? Would you like to qualify that statement?

You mention in the petition the numbers that are affected are a significant proportion but then go on to say it affects 100,000 workers. Depending on what survey you use there is anywhere between 1.4 and 1.8 million freelancers.... That's what? around 5%?

Is the loan charge really challenging the employment arrangements?

The rest of it is so woolly it means little to me and I've half a clue what's going on. How is that going attract the average person that doesn't really know what's going on?

I would have thought the only people that might sign this are those within the 100,000 that are affected so unless all of them sign, this petition is doomed to failure.

Good luck trying to get the public behind you. Don't be sad if your petition reaches a measly 100 signatures only. After all who would support an IT consultant who earned 450k in 4 years and paid 0 tax on it and now claims hardship and bankruptcy?
