You’ve described FreeAgent with any of the banks it takes a feed from. The OP seems to want to setup both bank and accountancy rather than create an integration product.

Looking at the website and reading in between the lines, I suspect we’re looking at a front-end thing that looks like one service but is in fact an integration of a current account (like Tide or Cashplus) and a FreeAgent type accounting app.

Otherwise there’s a lot of wheel reinventing going on.

No FCA regulation yet. And the privacy policy wants you to agree to data stored outside the EEA. So I stopped looking any further.

Both those will need sorting before any business happens,

I reckon you’re right Alan. This will be an integration as they look a long way from being an actual bank.

Reading further it may be some value to self-employed. Not for me as a LTD as I can’t see why I’d pay £20/month for something I already have with FreeAgent and CaterAllen.

For £20 a month? The website doesn’t seem to suggest replacing your accountant.
I’d be interested if it did, but is it possible to provide year end, basic advice, SA for one director etc. for that price?

The suggestion is the filing (by which I take to mean VAT, RTI and CT) is taken care of, so some might think they can diy it. Like they do with FA / hmrc tools just now. No advice or sanity check though - which is where the value is.
