Mexican contractors working for UK office.

    Hello,

I work for a UK software company that was acquired by an american investor group. Then, my company was merged with an American company resulting in a bigger one.

So the resulting company has been hiring Mexican contractors via a Mexican consultancy that are working with us from Mexico helping with the office in the US, and now with the office in London.

Does anyone know if this is legal? I mean, the fact that non-european contractors can work as if they were employees of the London office? They are embedded in the London development teams performing the same tasks as if the were here in the UK.

    Thanks in advance

Do they have T2 ICT visas for UK, or L-2 visas from US? They can't contract on either but they may well be employees of someone in the chain.

They aren’t actually physically working in the UK stek, they are just embedded in the development as if they were.
