    Bill of Exchange

As a private consultant in the UK, a private client was billed for services rendered.

I received the bill back from the client with a restricted endorsement stating that this act was recognised under UK and International Law.!

Has anyone come across this before?

    Thanks Anthony

Stating that what act was recognised under law?
A restricted endorsement is normally associated with a payment saying it must go to a particular account - e.g. you can't put it into your personal account, must go into the business account.
What you say doesn't make sense. You're missing a few words.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

So the private consultant was also a private client. Where do you fit into this?
