    unappytech

I have worked through various umbrellas over the last few years, and not found any to be better than average. For my last contract for 3 months I chose another one I hadnt used before. I found their payslips perplexing and I am not sure they have paid the tax to the revenue correctly. I was however paid on time most of the time. At the end of the contract the employer owed me £285 expenses dating back to the start of the contract. The employer and then the agency paid this to appytech on the 7th april and it is now the 25th april. Appytech are now not returning my calls or emails, or paying this amount paid to them. Firstly beware of appytech, and also what do I do next, small claims court? Anyone got experience of this situation? Thanks

No, they probably haven't paid the tax to the revenue correctly... http://forums.contractoruk.com/umbre...avoidance.html. But you'll need to look carefully at your contract with them to see if you agreed to this without realising.

        Horrendously bad

Appy tech fee is £5 for a reason. You really do get what you pay for!! A poor inadequate service, with staff members reluctant to deal with your queries, any attempt to make contact is ignored, dismissed and quintessentially left unresolved.
The likes of Ed Lebbon, Sue, and Liz wing, whom you will inevitably be advised to speak to, are overwhelmingly patronising and condescending individuals they have no intention whatsoever of resolving your issue.
They claim you receive a bespoke prestige service this cannot be further from the truth, they treat you with utter disrespect and have a total disregard for customer satisfaction the fee surely reflects this disgusting treatment. Your qualms will fall on deaf ears and they will most certainly consider you as a overbearing hindrance.
Ultimately you are left chasing until you are left feeling exhausted and discarded.

P.s be mindful of your pay I have found Appy Tech to be quite deceitful, they deducted an additional £30 on two separate occasions. Your payslips may very well be altered and 'fiddled' with. Be careful. Avoid this disgraceful, despicable company!!!!!
