    Gift Aid or not?

I currently make £125k yearly (£550 daily) and pay myself £100k yearly to be tax-efficient and not lose my personal allowance.

Should I use give to charity with gift aid or not to be tax-efficient? I'm paying myself out £883.33 in salary and the rest dividend.

Why don't you get some time and book an appointment within your accountant and go through all the opportunities rather than having random stabs at ideas and putting it to a bunch of stranger.

Some of these questions could be answered by a search at the very least but your accountant is really your best bet.

Is this a donation to a charity, or are you trying to get around paying taxes by donating to yourself?

Based on the OP's other topics, I think we know the answer. He's discovered that you can set up a justgiving page and worked out how to pay the money to himself.

£550 * 228 does give a little over that figure.

I tend to go for 250 as it makes multiplying easier.
