FAO Lisa or other Umbrella Co workers - question re expenses

If the T&S proposal goes through, would a contractor still be able to claim hotels and rail fares through an umbrella co?

Yes, really. Just curious because technically I'd be an employee of UmbrellaCo rather than a director of LtdCo.

Yeah but I missed and got the forum next to it.

Can a mod move this to the next forum please?

          Morning

Nope - the same rules will apply for umbrella company contractors as for Ltd Co contractors - if you're under SDC of the end client (or they have the right of SDC), you don't get any T&S expenses - mileage, train fare, accommodation, meals etc etc

Given S is substitution, wouldn't it be my ltd co that has the right of S and they have the D and/or C? Not nit-picking, just evaluating early so that I can think about things at a more strategic pace than "Panic in March"

              Supervision - not substitution
