HMRC requesting agency for details on active contractors via Ltd companies

    Hi,
I worked as a contractor via my own limited company for a large bank in the last tax year.
I've received a message from an agency I used stating that HMRC have requested data on all contractors via Limited companies. They've asked me to supply details including my NI number etc.

Any advice? The whole point of a Ltd. is that I, personally, have no relationship with the end supplier.

    Ta.

Yawn.. Supply it and move on. Have a search on Google using terms like 'contractor NI reporting'. It's not hard.

        Thanks.
Done it, supplied data. wtf they couldn't just look through their records themselves and give the data to HMRC I have no idea.

Anyway - they did have the sense to ask for the details of my substitute who I used for a week - so I guess they are on the ball.

If OP has received payments in this tax year, it needs to be reported, regardless of when the invoice was raised.
