If they are based in India, there are no steps. British law has no jurisdiction over there.

The company the website represents is registered here, but from earlier digging I suspect the parent co. is Indian and so relevent as to who the contract for services was with.

Firstly I want to say that my post is all true - yes it does sound a little unlikely I guess. He really is too busy to write on here. I'm glad that I am writing the message now, as they can't sue me for asking questions on here I expect?

So he's too busy working on a rate that only gets him £5k over 3 months to chase a claim that takes a couple of hours and worth £5k to him. I think he's got his priorities wrong IMO.
