Has anyone considered setting up an agency as well as a Ltd co contracting firm, and making the latter avialable through the first ?

if you expect to gain other end clients and pimp out contractors other than yourself (like an agency !) then that is a whole different skill set to being an IT geek. Got much high level sales experience ?When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....Comment

I know two people who did it.
The most recent one means, I hope, that he'll stop trying to be a hybird [sic] consultant and focus on that. Mind you, I made a lot of money following him round projects and cleaning up the mess.Comment

I was thinking it would help people concerned by income shifting (i.e. those not married/civil partnershipped) as the partner could run one independently and shave off a portion of the lolly.
It could also help with IR35 concerns, as the contracting Ltd company would have less revenue subject to challenge.
Would it help with those ?
(Any pimping of other bods, would be all gravy)Comment
