    Timescales to conclusion

Given the various new initiatives which have emerged, is there any consensus to how long it will take to reach an outcome - favourable or not.

Are we thinking 12 months, 2 years or another 5 years?

Is this MTM's appeal on human rights grounds - after the SC refused to hear it - or is this something else

If that's the case, then MTM only have Huitson's FTTT - after that - it's game over for the MTM route, baring appeals etc., right ?

Just signed up and paid. Have my APN letter delivered today and will open it later and see how bad it is. I assume it will just equal what is on appeal minus the interest. Guess I send it all to MTM.

Yes it was the ECHR appeal.

In 2008 I went for 2012 - scoffed at by those who thought it would be over in 2 years.

            Who knows though?

I'm going for an inscription on my tombstone.

Just got one person to join NTRT and he was not aware of them. Will probably get another couple to sign up once the become fully aware of the NTRT, not everyone knows about it. A lot of people just expect MTM to sort it all out and do not want to not think about it. The APNs have woken a lot of people up.

Also I would like HMRC to know getting my APN yesterday had no effect on my weekend. Opened my letter, looked at the numbers, looked at the payment date and put it back in the envelope and will look at it again on Tuesday.

I am a long term MTM user and stumbled across this brilliant site when I got my pre APN letter. Joined this forum a month ago and discovered NTRT and joined that too. I have had trouble posting here for some reason - so I am trying again.

I just wanted to say that its been a source of great comfort to me to find you guys, to discover that there are others out there and that I am not alone. 2 way communication with MP has been difficult to say the least and having just received the latest newsletter, I am trying not to be overoptimistic. My liability is over £120k plus interest and I simply cannot pay it - and given that I am now over 60, I have limited opportunity to rebuild my life if I am forced into bankruptcy.

So a big thanks to DR and those whose persistence and advice is now giving me a small degree of hope.

                    Hi and welcome.

                    I'm facing a similar retro liability - £112k + interest.

I believe George/TAA is probably the only chance we have of not being mugged by Hector.
