And, as Graeme says, it can't be over £300. You say 'about £300'. If your Ltd has spent £301, then you can't claim any of that.
But you could spend £300 through the company, pay the rest in cash personally and then get away with claiming it....
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

As long as you have a receipt saying £300. Plus it doesn't have to be all in one session. £150 is the amount per year with no BIK.

What I do find strange is that the OP is considering making his wife an employee for only two months and this is the first question he asks.

As long as the company paid £300, then you're OK.

As I understand the rules, if you paid it personally and are claiming it back, then it's a no-go.

I'm sure you could get away with anything if you covered your tracks. If that's how you wanted to do it.

How did you do that without asking the forum?

But it does have to be an annual event. So you could have Christmas outing and summer BBQ. But a night at the flicks for a new release isn't going to cut it.

Did you spend exactly £300 (with a receipt)? If you spent more, then the whole thing becomes a BIK.
