Firstly the time scales involved, the ASA will not come back the next day with a response, other than an acceptance that they have received the complaint, secondly MM "has retained a law firm", they will have in house council for these things and will only need a law firm for a trial.

If it is genuine I like your comment about MI5/I6 opening files on all immigrants like yourself which brings me to the fact that if even bobs are being under cut we natives are screwed
I can see that you are speaking your mind and your opinions based on unfounded assumptions as if they are facts. Probably do the same for your ~15,000 posts. Of course you have the right to do that.

However, in your second email today you explain that you saw the ad on the Jobserve website. This is a UK platform and this is a key remit factor. Regardless of where the Morgan McKinley is based, because of the ad was placed with a UK publisher (akin to the ad appearing in a UK newspaper) the matter now falls clearly within our remit

Could you please address your correspondence to:
[Name, address, phone, email of law firm withheld]

Do you want to change your opinions or keep believing what you want yourself to believe?

Why is this beginning to feel more like a wind-up?

Even if we are to believe the OP is telling the truth and this is not a wind up, they haven't "retained a law firm to deal with me", they've just pointed you to their lawyers.

Here is what the lawyer said:

When addressing matters such as this it is easier for all concerned for details to be set out in writing. I therefore look forward to hearing from you or your legal representatives in writing as to the exact nature and basis of your complaint in the first instance.

Morgan McKinley was using their in-house lawyer before but they decided to retain one that specializes in employment law. As you can see that they didn't know anything yet as they had just been engaged.

Lots of skeptics here I see. You guys are really jaded.

I thought the complaint was about false advertising? What has that to do with employment law?

I believe that the ASA need to brush up on their English, since that's meaningless gibberish.

Do you think it's a coincidence that the ASA's English is as good as the OP's?
