ASA has the power to reach a verdict and let the public know. As far as if Morgan McKinley cares or not, it is their call, not mine. I just take all available avenues to fight what I consider as wrong behavior, I don't take the self-defeating attitude. Do you agree that Morgan McKinley was wrong in doing what they did?

What I would have done is contact the recruiters directly, thank them for their time, and give them your direct contact details in case they are looking for anyone in the future.

Almost all agencies are rubbish, waste of energy to try and change the status quo tbh.

      Good luck anyway.

What you have done is very noble. When I was a tyro, I KNOW that I would have done the same and in my previous career I took a stand against a large PLC (in South Africa). Whilst it gave me great satisfaction, I was fortunate that I was employed at the time and had the backup of my employer too. The emotional cost was very high...

Now, my only concern is that MyCo. generates cashflow...
I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

Did ASA or MM tell you this?

I am ok with all the different approaches as we are all different anyways. I see from here that there are people who:

            1. don't want to say anything about it for fear of repercussions.
            2. don't want to waste energy because they think it is useless.
            3. complain about it and move on.

I have to say that this is just a microcosm of our society, isn't it?

It's business, they tried to screw you to increase their cut and that's just what happens sometimes.

If it were me I'd be focusing on something that would generate me an income (like finding a new contract) but if you've got cash in the bank and want to pursue this then I wish you the very best of luck.

I'm interested to know what you'd consider a positive result?

I have since gotten some ideas about what I want to do but I will not be able to disclose them here at this moment because I don't want to show my hands in case Morgan McKinley and their lawyers are watching. The reason I post here is to try to get some more ideas from people who have more experienced about this kind of things in the UK. I think I am already seeing some results this week as they are now being investigated by ASA and they are hiring a law firm as compared to just ignoring me as if nothing had happened.

I still don't understand what you're trying to achieve. Do you want compensation? A public apology?

I was wondering too. It sounds like you're going to be prosecuting someone every few months if you stick around.
