I'm using this while based in Cornwall for a week or so as the broadband is disconnected. It is working pretty well for RDP, Netflix, etc over 4G with the odd blip.
One thing I thought was a connection issue is actually that after 30 min of no use, it disconnects from the internet and you have to physically go and press a button - I kept thinking it had lost the connection and was crappy.
There is no setting to disable this but surely there must be a way to fake it being used that smart technically minded folk can think of? I'm a little confused that having gmail/Facebook open on my laptop, and the fact my mobile is polling for email/Messenger/etc, is not keeping the connection open - realistically what can it be using to reset its 30min countdown and how can I trigger this every few minutes to keep the device active?
