    Anyone used Spring Board Umbrella

    Hello

Ive been a contractor before and i know that a limited company is proably better if you are in it for the long run.
But im about to sign a 3 month contract so want to stick with a Umbrella company for now.

I was going to use SJD but has anyone heard of SpringBoard Umbrella?
I also want an umbrella company that allows me to upload scanned copies of invoices as this is all inland revenue need.

    They seem very cheap.

    Cheers
    Paul

Nope, sorry. Their website makes all the right noises, to be fair.

Say what? Why do you need invoices if you're using an umbrella, and why would HMRC want to see them?

    They seem very cheap.
    I wonder why...
    Blog? What blog...?

I'd go with Contractor Umbrella as their top brass post on here regularly and are linked to SJD for peace of mind. Dunno about cost but Umbrellas seem to cause people some problems at the best of times so I would rather go with someone I trust than someone who is cheap.

I've tried to parse that sentence but cannot make any sense of it.

The MD of Contractor Umbrella posts on this forum. Any problems and you can draw them to Lisa's attention immediately. Contractor Umbrella are also an offshoot of the large contractor accountancy form SJD....

You could have just called him an odious little sockie tool. Would have been just as useful.
