    Your MBTI type

    Last week I got drawn into an MBTI discussion and found myself taking the test. The result said that I was an ENTP.

    So I'm a quick-witted smart arse who enjoys arguments, can see patterns and is good at problem-solving (hmmm.....).

    Any of you done this?

    (This site does MBTI type stuff: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp )

    Extraverted (I think they mean extroverted) and judgemental. Thinks a bit and couldn't give a toss for others...

    Hmmm - could be Malvolio, not sure it's me!

      You are:

      * very expressed extravert
      * distinctively expressed intuitive personality
      * slightly expressed thinking personality
      * moderately expressed judging personality

      Am I doomed?

          "Unlike other types, ENTJs naturally have little patience with people who do not see things the same way as the ENTJ." Indeed that's me

            Wow! It classed me as INTJ which reading the description seems spookily accurate.

            However I must temper that with the fact that I am an Aries and that seems to describe me quite well, and I was born in the Chinese year of the Pig and that seems to describe me quite well too.

                OK, did it properly this time. Came out as ESTJ, a controling managerial type, which I suppose is pretty close.

                Sample personalities of that type apparently include President Truman and Lucy from Peanuts. More worryingly, another one is Dubya...

                    This is a superb link to put up, thank you.

                    I was rated INTJ which didn't tell me anything about myself that I didn't already know.

                    Mrs Gonzo was rated ESFJ, now she has been at a career crossroads lately trying to work out whether she should be a team leader or a project manager. She has been edging towards the team leader role, and now we know why that is the right thing for her to do.

                    I had always been sceptical about psychology in the past because I don't think that the human brain is that easily classified, but all previous exposure was freudian so I am willing to be converted.
