People,
I just received an email saying there are going to be cuts in ADM and SD ! Both perm and contractors!!
Does this have any details or are you just scare mongering. Anyone with a hole in their arse would know there are going to be cuts just looking at the figures posted recently.
Please have something tangible to say before starting a rumour mill.

Oh please! I have better things to do than to start rumors!
If you work for Lloyds, check your email now.
Reduction of 205 contractors; 134 in ADM and 71 in SD.
As one of those affected (permie), I was looking on here to see if contracting is still viable due to offshoring. I contracted, but gave it up in 2002 as getting contracts was difficult.
From what I've read its hard out there still (has been for a while now). Having C#, SQL Server, WCF and ASP.Net skills, how is the market looking? Flexibility on location/rate is a must I guess?
