And once again, he doesn't seem to understand the difference between avoidance and evasion. And this is a Treasury minister !!!

Receiving cash and not declaring it is outright evasion.

However, there is an interesting side point to this. The "ordinary man in the street" is probably quite supportive of the recent witchunts against anyone paying even a pound less than their "fair" share in tax. Demonstrating the point that many people have been participants in some form of tax dodge at some point - probably is not a bad thing, although I doubt it will make any difference.

They are talking about Gauke on LBC now, if anyone wants to vent their spleen to Nick Ferrari.

Agree... People with a little knowledge can be very dangerous and that's what I see in Gaulke, he has demonstrated on many occasions now that he doesn't quite understand the difference in Evasion and Avoidance.

All this waffle from Gauke is a smoke and mirror campaign to take the emphasis away from the real problems of large corporation and company TAX breaks which are costing the exchequer £Billions, also shadowing the continual waste from the public purse with instances like the £12.7B waste for the NHS system that's just been scrapped, lets see what the independent Auditors have to say about that one lets find out where the money has been siphoned off, no all that cr4p will be covered up.

Things need to change in the UK and bl00dy quickly, unfortunately we don't have the people in politics at the moment who have the b4lls or it seems the knowledge to do it.

As for his wife - if ever a pair deserved oneanother!
Someone this morning raised the point questioning had Gaukeward never paid his window cleaner in cash ?

          Of course he ****!ng hasn't,

He needed a receipt so that he could claim it on his parlimentary expenses.

Shove this up your a$$ Gauke

Regarding the case of Ayrshire Pullman Motor Services v Inland Revenue in 1929, Lord Clyde made the comment that has been tattooed on the forehead of every tax avoidance specialist ever since: "No man in the country is under the smallest obligation, moral or other, so to arrange his legal relations to his business or property as to enable the Inland Revenue to put the largest possible shovel in his stores. The Inland Revenue is not slow, and quite rightly, to take every advantage which is open to it under the Taxing Statutes for the purposes of depleting the taxpayer's pocket. And the taxpayer is in like manner entitled to be astute to prevent, so far as he honestly can, the depletion of his means by the Inland Revenue."

And if that's not put eloquently enough you can listen to Jim Davidson saying pretty much the same thing:

                      Funding

We are getting quite a few emails from people concerned that we are running out of money. Naturally no-one would want to make a further donation if the campaign was on its last legs.

Can I reassure everyone that this is absolutely NOT the case.

We already have enough in the kitty to cover Whitehouse for about another year. This is ring fenced.

The new money is to pay for DLA Piper to prepare the formal complaint against HMRC.
