    That's because they haven't been drowned out by the Football bores
    Absolutely. I did a voluntary thing once when I was stuck in a van for ages with a couple of blokes who endlessly talked about football. After desperately searching my almost non-existent fund of sporting knowledge all I could think of to contribute was "Didn't that Danny Blanchflower have big ears?"

    PS Glad it's not just me who posts in the wrong forums.
