Introductions and question about busy times in the market.

    Hi all,

yet another .net newbie to the contractor world. I am getting my ducks in order ready to start contracting beginning of October.

Can Any one confirm when the best time to look for a new contract is I have heard the summer can be a bit slow but mid Autumn and mid Spring are the best time to get good rates and choice of contracts is this true?

If you're planning on starting in October, then that's when you start. Nobody will give a contract now starting in three month's time...

But it is seasonal to some extent, mainly because permie people go on leave around Christams and July/August. The demand is pretty constant, the hirers aren't.
    Blog? What blog...?

Notice handed in last week so the next step is to find some customers and sort the legal stuff out.

        Feeling good so far!
