Front-end development has moved so quickly the last 3 years. It's infiltrating the back-end side of things with node.js (and increasingly C#/Java devs). You need to know React JS (and Redux) as a back-end developer while also having a foot in the Ops space with AWS / Azure / GCP knowledge.
Being truly "Full stack" was achieveable ~5 years ago but even the front-end stack by itself is huge now. Hence ...
