I'm currently in a perm IT Management role with a 3 month notice period and am considering contracting but see the major hurdle I see (apart from being offered a contract) is my 3 month notice period as pretty sure clients/agencies are always pretty much after someone who can start within several weeks.
Has anyone got any advice on how best to approach this? or experienced the same situation? I've even contemplated should I be offered a contract to hand in just a months notice but this doesn't really sit too well with my moral compass, but I'm not that happy in my job at present and need to look after myself first and foremost.
