Large(r) Consultancies

If you have a decent history of working n consultancies, you should be working your network of contacts rather than hoping to find an agency. Time to learn how to use LinkedIn perhaps...

Thanks for the reply. I have a decent LinkedIn profile but don't want to pull in any favours with my ex-colleges just yet. I would prefer to work for a new/different consultancy if possible. I was just wondering if there was somewhere else I should be looking other than the usual job boards...

Surley the point about Linkedin is that your ex colleagues would either have left and be working somewhere else with knowledge of roles coming up, or even if they have not left may still be aware of roles at clients that they cannot fill themselves.

From my experience many years ago with one of the larger consultancies, they placed a lot of emphasis on networking - internally and externally. I wouldn't be shy of tapping up your ex-colleagues to enquire if they know about any opportunities, either where they are now or anywhere else they might be aware of.
