I'm new to contracting can anyone recommend the best Umbrella company to use and has anyone used Accessa? They seem to use a company share scheme to enable them to pay you 80% Net? Has anyone used this method before and is it OK?

WCS - if it seems too good to be true it very probably is. Basic tax free allowance is £9440 per year - basic tax rate is 20%, higher rate on earnings over £32k is 40%. The scheme provider will take a fee of anywhere between 5% and 12% of the contract value. If you work out the maths 80% seems too good to be true doesn't it
