Another organisation learning the hard way you cannot skimp on testing and if used 'Developers in Test' that that is complete and utter bollocks. Developers never find all the big defects.

Well the main question is ..

Were the people who were supposed to be delivering it told when to deliver it - or were they actually allowed to understand the project and then tell you when it could be ready.

We were told it would be ready for the start of the new financial year to avoid any issues with the import of historical PAYE figures, unfortunately that was not the case we are still working on it from this end to make sure there are no issues when it is finally launched.
